When I was young, trick-or-treat was what made Halloween! What's not to love about dressing up on a Sunday afternoon and going door-to-door collecting mounds of tooth rotting candy and eating it until your stomach aches?
Despite wavering opinions, most communities set their trick-or-treat time for the Sunday, October 31, Halloween, with a few neighborhoods choosing the Sunday before, October 25, or the Sunday after, November 1, said OnMilwaukee.
Regardless of what time your community kicks off the candy-hording, it’s important to be safe. Here’s a fantastic site that offers a Halloween Safety Guide to ensure your children have a fun, yet safe time trick-or-treating around the neighborhood.
