To say that Karen is a wearer of many hats would be like saying that frozen custard is tasty - a colossal understatement.

Currently working in online marketing at a local advertising agency by day, and honing her passion as a writer by night, Karen has worked in various capacities of advertising, public relations, journalism and marketing fields. Besides blogging, Karen has written for a variety of media outlets, including the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Outpost Exchange Magazine, and VISIT Milwaukee.

When she isn’t focused on work, Karen is about the town, taking time to find Milwaukee’s hidden gems and partake in the must-not-miss experiences this Midwestern city has to offer. From brewery tours, mini bowling, and tailgating, to festivals, “Super Clubs,” and beyond, this life-long Milwaukee advocate will show you all of those special somethings that make Milwaukee culture completely unique.

Having lived the majority of her days in the Milwaukee area, naturally, Karen will share tips on where to snag the best fish fry, and highlight all the cool corner pubs or specialty shops you might somehow miss. Of course, Karen will also introduce you to some of her friends and family, who she drags from one enclave to another.

As you’ll soon find out, Milwaukee is a city of many hats, and Karen is determined to try on each and every one of them.
